My callings in this life seem to come to me with a lightning-like power and clarity. This was the case with Craniosacral therapy - upon receiving my first session in my late 20’s I knew immediately that this was to be my work and my passion. And, years later, exactly on my 40th birthday the calling to do birth work came with an equal passion and clarity.

Entering the world of birth support felt like the most organic evolution of who I already was and the gifts cultivated through years of devotion, which I was already sharing with my communities. By then I was a skilled and experienced bodywork healer with specialty in Craniosacral therapy, a breath-work instructor, a ceremonial facilitator and drummer-singer, and a tribal belly dancer. The golden thread through all these aspects of me is my deep passion for guiding people, especially women, back into our bodies’ inherent wisdom, our soul sovereignty, and an empowered, authentically - created life. So, tending to the process of birth seemed like the natural next step and a deeply meaningful way for me to make an impact at the most tender and important part of life - where it begins.

I pursued training with the best that I could find in the field: Neri Life-Choma with her comprehensive Bay Area Doula Training program and, the highly acclaimed, Innate Postpartum Practitioner training with Rachelle Seliga of Innate Traditions. I completed the 18-month program and became a certified Innate Practitioner - becoming one of now many ambassadors for reclaiming holistic, physiologic maternal care as a basic necessity of life.

Offering my support to the Sacred prenatal through postpartum journey has been an honor and blessing. I feel deeply grateful to be a part of a growing movement of reclaiming birth as a natural, empowered experience and giving mothers the honor and deep care that they deserve.
